I was introduced to this book by the fellow teachers when I working at a Montessori in K.L for a short while.

This book was written by more than a century by the famous child educator Maria Montessori. I attempted to read it whilst working but with the hours like 8 till 7 pm at work and then back home being the Domestic Commando, I was lucky to even pick up ANY book, or read just a page! So now that I have more flexi hours so to speak, I hope to finish this book within in a week or two – will share more along the way.

An interesting excerpt:

“And so we discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being. It is not acquired by listening to the words, but in virtue of experiences in which the child acts on his environment.”

Now let’s grab a cuppa and enjoy the read!
